Morobe Mission covers the territory of;

  • Morobe Province,
  • Simbari and Marawaka Sub-Districts of Eastern Highlands Province,
  • Kaintiba Sub-District of Gulf Province, and
  • Kira of Oro Province of Papua New Guinea.

Morobe Mission has 68 organised churches with a membership of 24,078 (and growing) in a population of 662,626 people. (This statistics report is as of 11/21/2016).

To take on this huge population, Morobe Mission has divided the mission fields into eleven districts. They are; Anga, Bulolo, Fisisi, Kabwum, Komako, Lae, Markham 1, Markham 2, Marawaka,Simbari, and Waria. All the district area pastor's houses are lighted by solar power.

The number of fulltime pastoral care workers is 122, plus the the volunteers and church member who actively involve and reinforce in the mission work.

We have 5 schools spread throughout the mission field. They are; Menyamya Adventist Community School, Ragiampun Adventist Primary School, Lae Adventist Primary School, and Gabensis Adventist school which is on the top list to be converted into an high school in the near future.

We are currently negotiating  to set up the mission's first Health Center at Buhalu in the Bukawa area, 2 hours drive from Lae.

And finally we are have plans for a new office complex by 2014. We want to build a modern fascility that will house the administration that oversees the full operation of Morobe Mission.

We always claim the leading of our good Lord and we believe our current work as well our future plans are possible through the Lord and with our energetic church family.

You can support us through your prayer.
