Warasek Church Dedicated

Warasek community in the Markham two district of Morobe Mission were blessed yesterday witnessing their church dedication.
A team of delegates from Morobe Mission (MM), led by MM President Pastor Blasius Managos, MM Secretary Pastor Kua Nugai and other departmental directors, cut the ribbon to the completed Warasek Church. Members from all over the Markham two district also attended the program.
The church started in the April 2008, where people worshipped under a canvas tent, by 2009, construction of the new church building started. By 2010, church organizes where a senior elder, church treasurer, head deacon and deaconess were appointed. “We have many challenges in the building of this church, but we praised God for His blessings and His goodness,” said elder Morris Nayabanung as he gave the brief history of the church.
A baptismal service was also held after the dedication service where people witnessed 17 new members being accepted into the new church with many more making their stand to be baptized.
